ARKADELPHIA, AR, July 29, 2025: The Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Clark County manufacturer, Georgia Pacific, has advanced to the Exceptional 8 round of the fourth annual ‘Coolest Thing Made in Arkansas’ competition. Presented by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/AIA and Arkansas Business, the contest celebrates The Natural State’s rich manufacturing history and highlights some of the amazing products manufactured in Arkansas.

Georgia-Pacific earned its spot for its high-quality lumber and plywood products, which are sustainably harvested and manufactured in Arkansas. These versatile materials are used nationwide in residential, commercial, and cutting-edge mass timber construction projects.
Clark County’s diverse manufacturing sector was well represented in this year’s competition: Hostess Brands and Siplast also made it to the Super 16 round, demonstrating the strength and innovation of our local industrial partners and their contribution to the state’s economy.

“Clark County is home to some of the coolest manufacturing operations in Arkansas,” said Shelley Short, President & CEO of the Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce. “From Georgia-Pacific’s sustainable lumber products to Hostess’ Donettes and Siplast’s advanced roofing membranes, our local manufacturers are shaping industries and making their mark on a statewide level.”
