Caddo River Wood Products, LLC Announces Opening of Hardwood Sawmill
Economic Development Corporation Awards New Business with $125,000 in Incentive Funding AMITY, AR, Oct. 3, 2022: Caddo River Wood Products, LLC has announced the opening of a hardwood sawmill that will create 15 new jobs on 54 acres in Clark County and looks to expand to 50 employees over 3-5 years.
Economic Development Corporation Awards New Business with $125,000 in Incentive Funding AMITY, AR, Oct. 3, 2022: Caddo River Wood Products, LLC has announced the opening of a hardwood sawmill that will create 15 new jobs on 54 acres in Clark County and looks to expand to 50 employees over 3-5 years. The mill will be a hardwood facility producing cross ties, dimensional lumber, and firewood. Construction on the mill is being performed by GT Sawmill Solutions and President Jason Goodale is leading the team of fabricators and welders. On September 29th Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance former CEO J.L. Griffin, Economic Development Coordinator Ashlee Vaughan, and new CEO Shelley Short presented Caddo River Wood Products Managing Partner David Henderson with $125,000 in incentive funding (“old” tax funds) from the Economic Development Corporation of Clark County. According to Mr. Henderson, the mill will produce an estimated 10 million board feet per year of hardwood products. Henderson anticipates the mill will be fully operational by early December 2022.
