Arkadelphia is committed to realizing the vision of the Clark County Strategic Plan, a comprehensive planning initiative addressing the future development of our community. To date, the Plan has leveraged over $55 million dollars for our community. The Plan, adopted in 2007, was written by a public-private organization of more than 500 volunteer county residents, and updated in 2013 by Leadership Clark County, Class V.
Economic development has definitely evolved in Clark County! Our organizations work in partnership with our professional economic developers by assisting with our community's policies, programs, and projects. Our economic development organizations seek to discover new and retain existing economic development opportunities.
Economic Development Corporation of Clark County
The Economic Development Corporation of Clark County is a tax-funded organization created to develop and fund economic development projects and activities to stimulate the local economy and to support the creation of new job activities.
Clark County Industrial Council
The Clark County Industrial Council aims to create high-paying, environmentally safe jobs for Clark County.
