Clark County, Ark.– Today, on behalf of the Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and the Economic Development Corporation of Clark County, we proudly announce Hostess Brands is opening its new production and packaging manufacturing plant in the Clark County Industrial Park. The building, based in the former Danfoss location, will span 330,000 plus square feet. We would like to thank Clark County voters for your continued support and dedication to advancing the county. This plant estimates creating 170 jobs over the next three years. Clark County will continue to attract high-quality businesses such as Hostess Brands and provide them with the resources they need to invest, create jobs and produce premium products. We are thrilled to begin a long-term partnership with Hostess to bring further opportunities. “I am positive Hostess decided to locate in Clark County because the people of this county were willing to invest in themselves with the passing of the new half-cent sales tax for economic development,” said J.L. Griffin, CEO of Arkadelphia Alliance. “We are very excited about this opportunity. We would not have been able to provide Hostess with an incentive without the tax. This is great news to bring new jobs to Clark County.”
